jon-- in the past. i would not have doubted it from this management team. now, i am not so sure. we may actually trade into fractions, but i dont think it will last that long. whoever made the comment about HDD manu's being hurt by slowdowns is dead on. the analysts look at WDC and others and determine that they are going to have a rough time, so JTS must be about to go into the toilet. they are wrong of course. IMHO, the time to buy is when my broker says to sell. i talked to him yesterday and he told me that i should dump JTS because HDD's would not be in computers in another year. when i asked what he thought the rplacement would be, he stated that SmithBarney analysts thought it would be DVD. can you believe that? if i could buy smithbarney's analysts for what they are worth and sell them for what they think they are worth, i could retire and never worry about money again. hell, i could probably buy MSFT's entire float at a premium. let the MM's have their fun. they always loose in the end. becuase they are loosers. good luck to all, trey
