WTF are you talking about? Most sane shorts took enough profits to more than pay for any leftover positions they were exposed to. The pain that you are used to feeling on the long side because you don't use stops or know how to value companies is not a universal problem, especially for most experienced short sellers. This opportunity to re-enter shorts at high levels, in companies that should never have left the college science fair, let alone gotten a national market listing, is an early new year's present.

Don't confuse a loathing for stupidity and irrational behavior with a bad attitude or preaching doom and gloom :-)
