HI Jack: I'm glad you called my attention to AOL not trending like the SOX, like I said I had a qualifyer on it "today"..but even that missed..however you got me looking around and I found mabe a better one to watch , the internet net index on Yahoo, ISDEX isdex.yahoo.com but today AOL is bucking even that..and I may have to re-look at my indicators that told me she was weak. Where are the profit takers.. ? they have always been here before when she had fast gains...hmmmm, and BTW they do not have AOL in that index..still it should indicate a internet bear/bullish mood. Off hand I'd say her bucking it is a strong sign..but volume is not heavy..and I'l have to look at interday chart to see what it shows..( like were in the day was most volume and at what price ) open and closes can get gaped a lot..finding the mean average trading price for the day and comparing it with the day before often tells more than the open/close or high/low..where did the "most" tickets swap hands..that often tips you off when the price is being proped up, I get a good guess on that using an interday chart. Like you can find a stock closed higher than the day before, but also find that during the day "MOST" trades went at such and such and below the day before..(,or the other way around )..also the high lows..may have been just a spike, or dip..( some body got stung with market orders that the MM held back them matched and put the change in his spread kitty ) Jim
