This thread discusses a LTBH investing strategy, and that is this threads focus.

duh..i'm a long term investor. So long that i can't stand when people talk about the short term and say, "Yay...stocks are up today."

I think, crap..another buying opportunity missed.

right, and even though Yahoo or a Dell is not a gorilla, their earnings will effect ALL gorillas in the short term. Yes i'm a long term investor, but when i buy it is very important to me.

The index (or market) is up. The index (or market) is down.

The NASDAQ is more up and down than the S&P 500 or the DJII.


Yes i know this and i was just making the point that just cause we're up over 270+ points in one day that it doesn't mean this is the end of the bear market. Just pointing that out. That said, i don't make short term predictions. I don't know how and according to Buffet...it's almost impossible.
