I must have missed something important. Are you saying that CMTR already has a working rapid HIV test that is in clinical trials? As you know, TRIBY and SALV already have rapid HIV tests and aren't screwing around with the mail-order kits currently allowed by the FDA.

If the FDA permits take-home rapid HIV tests at some time, then the market will certainly be large enough for all of the existing players. You can also look for one or more of of these little fishes to get swallowed by some of the bigger fishes.

In the meantime, it seems likely that the FDA will approve rapid HIV tests for professional use. This alone is probably a much bigger market than that for send-by-mail HIV tests.
