Your missing the whole point...the reason we rallied is due to the precieved bs that liquidity will be added to the equity mkts. Now, these morons bid up these garbage stocks again, and tried to flush shorts today...while brokers called in shorts all over town. Now... by FOMC all the good news will be factored in ie. bs Neut stance and Bush, and we should be getting into the early meat of earnings warnings season... if you beleive that these stocks are already discounting slower growth and warnings, then god bless you....cause i sure don't. But, if Greenspan feels the need to tamper with the mkt and cut rates then our 3rd wave of 4th leg down, will be the final leg. But, i caution people...these stocks that are utter trash.. ie. AKAM etc...eith Mkt caps that are obscene relative to there revs, will get capsized..regardless... there will still be nice winners in the tech sector..but as we have seen today..irrational exuberance took center stage again.... and it will happen again, and again and again... so be on your toes...not a mkt for the squimish...
