Looks like the purely partisan NYTimes is abandoning AlGore the Sore Loserman, so the rest of the Dem establishment can't be far behind:

THE ALMOST WINNER: How close has Al Gore come to being president? He's had two narrow misses. Remember impeachment? Just a few Senate votes short of installation. Remember Florida? Just a few votes short of inauguration. When you look at it that way, his maniacal ambition makes a little more sense. He has even refused to rule out the Seminole option.
