kas1, I was a LTBH person by rule until this year. i had held 2-3 stocks for 3-5 years. If I had held them through this decline, ALL of the gains would have been gone. Since valuations are still historically high and even AG is concerned about the nature of the landing for next year, I am on the sidelines or buying only on major declines right now. To be honest, I thought that NTAP was a great deal when I first bought some shares i the 70's last month. Fortunately, I did sell on the rebound and was able to pick up shares in the 60's and 50's (no 40's, unfortunately). I see no reason for NTAP to return to former levels since it was actual company guidance that caused the original slide. Since I really have no idea about how strong the Nasdaq rebound will prove to be, I am playing this very tentatively. It is promising that the money flow and volume was very strong. Per the IBD rules, we should watch for a significant follow through within 4-7 days to verify the rally. Good luck, tp
