Nemer, If Al Gore were really riding the High Horse and wanted every vote in the state of Florida counted for its own merit then why not ask for a manual recount of the entire state of Florida to remove any doubts of any possible untoward indiscretions? Perhaps Mr. Gore is still troubled by the fact that he has won the plurality of votes in this nation? Or maybe Mr. Gore finds the current electoral system created by our founding fathers unfair? But the Constitution is very clear on the process of selecting a president for this nation. The end does not justify the means. Why can't Al Gore just count African American votes and extrapolate the intent of those voters to reflect the will of the entire nation? That should guarantee a win for the Vice President. P.S. If Jessie Jackson can play the race card then why can't I do the same to play the Devil's advocate? Or is this hypocritical? Regards,
