The ratio between JDSU and SDLI will be 3.8 when the merger is finalized. Until then, the spread will vary. Some think JDSU would rocket should the merger not be complete. I believe the opposite, but I'm afraid I'm in the minority. SDL's advanced 300 mW (6540) chip is superior to anything JDS has and is one of the primary reasons for the merger. Pat
