Not necessarily. The server markets haven't been heard from, and CPQ had lowered estimates slightly earlier.
Does it make sense to engage in a stock buyback when you're going to miss earnings?

Finally, is it likely that IF CPQ did miss earnings, the price is already fully accounting for that fact? I think it is very likely. If CPQ was at 18 last year without earnings, it could hardly be worth less than 20 when it has earnings (even if they miss).
Overall, I think the outlook is positive. I don't see that CPQ is necessarily tainted by the same negatives.
