Why is it that TDMA fanatics justify their technology by extrapolating their success with GSM subscriber numbers. What correlation is there between TDMA and the 375 million GSM users. According to ATT, there is ZERO. They are going to migrate to GSM and UMTS from TDMA. BLS is trying to figure out their next move with their TDMA subscribers in the US and South America. Should they go with CDMA2000 or WCDMA?

His comment that there is an abundance of TDMA products is a complete joke. NOK is the only company supplying TDMA handsets. They have no competition. Why? Because TDMA is going to be replaced with CDMA overlays in the next few years and follow the same extinction as analog phones.
