It is never appropriate. I have since added to post 103130. Some of the things I say there may change your opinion. When legislatures feel free to overturn judicial opinions or ignore them, we have the beginnings of chaos. Every man may seek redress through the courts. But how many American know how to get redress through the legislature, or have the means? Very few. Respect for the courts as the final word--even if sometimes we don't like their decisoons--is the bedrock of a stable republic.
