well....so far the freedom is not being enjoyed by the programmers it would appear. just a hunch.... but if capex spending is going to return to it's normal ups and downs per business conditions of years past.... well...in some of this stuff.... like many said when we got to pentium III..... what's fast enough vs. i need everything that goes faster and they are trying to hammer all this stuff into place when revenue streams from main street are lagging badly.... you have main street panic installing with only early adoption phases on the parabolic overlays.... in fact the installs are leap frogging the users..... dey gonna hav ta slow da ting down seems to me it's all been a manic panic implementation now they are looking at the steady business case in the old fashioned plodding boring budget and strategy meetings..... just a hunch.
