<Their 450MHZ machines are going head to head with GHZ+ machines. A several years old machine is almost as fast as a new one, there is no reason to upgrade. Apple may be dead if they don't get better processors from IBM, Motorola, or someone else> Gateway had higher speed parts than any other player and still reported sales dropped by about 30% during Thanksgiving weekend. So, suggesting that MHz is the primary problem is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?
