I created this group of short selling threads to help provide some organization.

I've observed that most posts in the various short selling forums focus on one of two categories of stocks:
(1) companies that are struggling to stay afloat (I call them broken stocks)
(2) stocks with sky-high P/XX multiples
(3) the mechanics of how and why to short.

So I made a separate thread for each of these. This root thread is a place for everything else relating to short selling.

I welcome all short sellers, including those from other forums, such as the Shorting Stocks folder on AOL's The Motley Fool, which has featured a good emphasis on serious fundamental analysis. I've participated in that folder using the screen names NuthnFree and MF Search. Now I'd like to see the interactions that develop by participating here instead.
