That's where it all leads, you see. That's why the last 2 close losers in '60 and '76 just conceded and walked away. Anyone think they didn't want to win just as bad as Herr Gore? Of course they did-but you can make an argument for throwing out every vote in the country and going to the state legislatures-then to the House, if necessary ON EVERY CLOSE ELECTION. That's why the the freedom-protecting institutions of a republic are often described as "delicate". It is expected that the leaders and prospective leaders of a republic will be fiduciaries of liberty first, and cannibals only second.

That's called an "ideal of liberty", for you liberals who never heard of it. It's also a fine line, between these fiduciaries who protect the institutions of liberty, and the Hitlers, Stalins, Maos, etc. who destroy them.

We are supposed to learn this in school. We do not. Clinton and Gore were supposed to understand this before they entered politics. They failed to. And that is the true importance of this contest.

I call upon the Florida Legislature to meet immediately and throw Al Gore, Joe Lieberman, and their slimy lawyers out of their state, and out of this race. It's their fiduciary duty to their nation...
