I am very sorry to hear about investment woes. I am not convinced that rationality was your undoing. I believe that it almost always wins out in the long run on wall street. The problem may have been that "you were forced to liquidate your portfolio" by buying on margin.

I hope you dont come down hard on your rationality. I enjoy reading your post and your logic (though I may not agree with your views on Intel). I hope you can take advantage of your rationality in your future investments.
