Petition to the the President of the Florida State Legislature

To: John McKay, President of the State Senate, Florida State Legislature

I respectfully urge you to join with Tom Feeney, Speaker of the Florida House, to quickly hold a special session of the Florida Legislature and, at that session, select a slate of electors who will be pledged to vote for George W. Bush as the next president of the United States. You must take such action to ensure that the will of the voters is not usurped by a rogue court that has clearly overstepped its powers.

Also, federal law gives the legislature the authority to choose the method of appointing electors if the state “has failed to make a choice on the day provided by law.” That is a clear threat since the army of out-of-state lawyers deployed by the Democratic war machine seems determined to keep the selection of electors tied up in the courts past December 12, the day set for naming electors.
