Mike, Ciena is one I follow and the earnings only matter when there is no takeover rumor. Right now, I don't think anyone is talking takeover, so it could be rough. Coming up soon is my old bud, Micron Tech. No way they hit their estimate and guidance going forward will be murky. That's the good side. On the bad side, this stock has already given up 70% of its silly days value and doesn't look like the biggest profit generator in puts from the 30s. Maybe a nice hit, but I'd look for higher priced crapola, like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
