I think the Florida Legislature is just making sure there isn't a last minute effort by the courts to change the electors. Whether this is done by the Supreme Court or by Nikki Clark in Seminole County matters not. Either one would go against the power of the Legislature and would justify their intervention.

Whether or not this makes people "mad" is completely irrelevant. I hope they do get mad. If the Democrats get mad they will do something stupid and cost them the 2002 election as well as this one.
