I think once we have the list, we need to spend some time reviewing the REASONS why we picked each one, and review the competition. Then, I think we need to review the 11-20 picks that didn't make it, and keep an eye on them for substantial changes. I also think we should then review the top ten picks performance in 6 months, to see whether there is some consensus on how the companies are doing and, of course, whether we still think they are attractive at current levels. We will still track each company for the entire year, but we could vote to remove a company from the list. It'll be fun, for example, when we remove jdsu for cien, and then, cien collapses and Jdsu rolls merrily along. All kinds of lessons are possible. Or maybe we will have nailed the perfect ten!
