< another Black Dahlia murder > Hey, MB, a James Ellroy fan by chance? Nobody does the crime novel better. Incredibly dense, terrific plots. I saw Antley ride a lot at Monmouth Park back in the 80s. Seemed like a terrific kid who was just a little slow on the uptake (the best example of which is probably when he thought they named "Antespend" after him). He set riding records down here at MTH no one will ever approach. And I don't think any jock ever looked better or more athletic than Ant did on Strikey in the Derby. Damn shame.
