A while ago I bought mat apr 10 calls for $2. I sold them today for $4.20 because I felt the recent upward strength might run out of steam, based partly on the stochastics which are indicating quite an overbought situation.

I do want to add that I am pretty positive about the company in the medium to long term, so I am also long mat shares, some of which I have owned since the stock was in the high $30's.

I was interested to hear the has news after the bell today. Since their problems are attributable to pokemon card sales, I'm not sure it's relevant to mattel, but I think there could be some pressure on both toymakers.

I'm interested to hear whether anybody else shares my thoughts on mattel.
