In fact, Salomon Smith Barney analyst noted that the quarter was "shaping up to be the worst in over a decade" for Intel... He also said that he had growing confidence that Intel would miss its quarter...Influential Lehman analyst, Dan Niles, chimed in by noting that Intel should have enough data within the next few days to be able to assess the quarter... In other words, if they're going to warn they're likely to do so within the next several days.
