Now, what does the SEC do to Solomon Smith Barney when/if it is later revealed they were buying INTC from Nov. 30-Dec. 6?

"Intel shares began their fall after Salomon Smith Barney analyst Jonathan Joseph told clients that all input suggests the company's fourth-quarter is "shaping up to be its worst quarter in over a decade."

The remarks were not new, however, since it was a rehash of Joseph's comments from Nov. 30 when he stated "this is the weakest Q4 since the recession of 1991," and lowered his revenue and earnings estimates for the chipmaker on weakening consumer demand.

Joseph's recommendation on Intel shares is still 'outperform.'"
