I wonder if our current president can "feel our pain". :o) Re: When these tech stocks commit themselves to a direction, they do have a history of overshooting... The market seems to be filled with folks whose idea of stock ownership duration is about 6 minutes. That perspective is not in my experience. Re: Problem for AMD is that their success makes it more difficult for INTC's success and if INTC doesn't succeed, it's tough for the general market to get up a head of steam in the positive direction. Alas...I think you are correct. There's no end to the ability of the talking heads to "spin" a situation into anything that's convenient at the moment. Fact seems unrelated. Hopefully AMD's Q4 numbers will be strong enough to disengage its price... I'll drink to that...I remain long and strong on AMD. Though the market disagrees, the AMD story is just beginning to be known. As a company, AMD is now the strongest they've ever been yet seems to receive no respect or awareness from the street.
