for norton antivirus users.... new virus definitions dated 12/4/00 are available. once again, i could not retrieve them via liveupdate (gave it two tries), and i had to grab 'em from the symantec download site. those installed fine. fwiw, the SARC Intelligent Updater was really busy with this install, and then i noticed that it was updating all nav products on all win9x and winNT platforms. pretty cool, in that prior to tonight, i was rebooting into w98se to retrieve virus defs there too. the SARC IU did it for me. :) mark
