May I enter this "Porch of Refuge" for Liberals out there that have been fighting the good fight against the forces of evil. On cyberspace and in real space.. since the McGovern campaign so many moons ago.
I have for credentials, campaign buttons from that dear man's run against that dreaded N man, that again, like now, we were so against the odds, but we were so right then.. as he resigned in disgrace. Do you think we might be right again??.. and there might be a resignation again...... When the the truth comes out.. I don't know..
I might also offer as admission to this exclusive society,
Charter membership in "Common Cause".. "People for the American Way"" etc..
But I grow tired,, I need rest, from the shrill rabid right on SI, At your advice, I did take rabies shots and I wore my leather underware when I went into that Bush den......But entering strange Bushes is always a risk.. as I know.. no excuses..
So like always, when I enter a strange place..I knew where the back door was.. I stood by the pool table so my hand was near a que..But 10 to 1. Well, "against all odds"
