A 733 MHz Pentium III will be on the order of a microcontroller by the end of 2001. Instead, X-Box should really be sporting a Pentium 4. By the end of 2001 (or mid-2002), P4 should be mainstream and cheap enough.

X-Box specs are already vastly superior to PS2. There is no need to boost them, but considering the component manufacturers involved it might happen. Full Scene Anti-alias is particularly important as I hate the jaggies you currently see on PS2.
