Hi Mark (and Collin, Mike, Dave, Rashid, bazan, frank, YxY and all the other long time gizzard traders),

Well my decision to go to a longer term, more conservative, larger cap swing trading worked well. I have been preoccupied with other projects and then stopped trading entirely in Oct (except for an occasional stop loss hit and replacement buy) with the intention to rejoin after the election. Well, I'm still waiting for the election to finish <VBG> but have started to look for an occasional target of opportunity. Last week TALK and HM popped up and started to get my interest in gizzards going again. I will have to refund my trading account as I removed most cash back in Aug (to avoid temptation) and restart my small cap gizzard scans.

So how is everyone? There are 1000+ posts on the thread since I was active last and I'll never read them all. I started with the end of last week and will probably leave it at that absent someone directing me to a "must read". Hope all kept capital preservation at the top of their "must do" list.

Collin, are you done with the lab work? Crystal has snow and is open - I got my season parking pass in the mail today. Looking forward to hitting the slopes soon.

And I hope to start contributing some posts of worth soon. Meantime still holding PNC, WM, BA, SPC, WFSL, PSD, and SBUX in the swing trade account. These have done well since the end of last June when I started adding to them, but long term gains are not going to pay the weekly check when I start trading again.

BTW Mark - like you, my studies foresaw a severe market correction this fall and originally prompted me to take some time off. I still think we're not out of the woods yet and expect a further downside correction, but my model also has an end of year rally before the next sell off early next year. The non-election has skewed my readings however, so the end of year rally may not amount to much. A lot of stocks look like they are in failing rallies. Still, I miss trading and will have some time to do so for the next several weeks. Now can I get back in the saddle or not?

Peace and Justice --- Patrick
