Respectfully you are naive as ..There are no politicians that are pro Castro but there are tons of politicians that favor lifting the boycott with Cuba as we do with China and other countries that arent Democratic i.e Ted KENNEDY or the Governor of ILLinois...their theory is that trade and other relations by us will create a greater opportunity for us to foster reform in the other country and this is a better alternative then armed conflict OR EVEN BOYCOTT....however.no Fla. politician Democratic or Republican can advocate lifting the boycott with Cuba and survive.....that is not pro Castro as you and I know but the hostility our Cubans have for those in favor of lifting the boycott is tantamount to being pro Castro...thus every American who favored Elian returning to his DAD is labeled pro Castro..remember my Kendall Coffey example and he only represented Gore in the election fracas............as to your question I have no idea what will happen if Castro dies as there is no clear successor
