Vendor Financing..... Vendor financing is a shakey business practice that is often utilized by companies that cannot compete on the merit of their product and service. In the networking area the biggest users of this unsound business practice are Lucent, Nortel, Cisco, and Alcatel. Ciena does not vendor finance per se.
