Bob, I use Brown & Co., DLJ Direct, and Fidelity. Brown has great execution, the cheapest commission rates, and their margin rates are cheaper than anyone. However, the rate the pay for cash sucks.

Since the middle of the year, I've moved most of my stuff to DLJ. They have a good rate for cash, good service, they don't charge extra to talk to someone, etc. I did this because I've been raising cash. When I start buying on margin again I'll move more back to Brown.

I use Fidelity for my IRA because they are the only one to pay decently on cash in an IRA.

Hope this helps.

Jay
