This sounds like there could be some corruption in the QCharts Temp folder (where temporary data is stored.) If that is corrupted for QCOM, then when you try to pull up that data the symptom you mention could occur. Please exit QCharts, delete your QCharts Temp folder (by default located at C:\Program Files\Quote.com\QCharts4.0).
