If you're trying to value qcom, might it not be better to examine it in terms of future earnings?

It's the market cap that bothers me, and the talk of "same price after 3 splits" would make QCOM the most valued company in existence, LOL. I think QCOM has a very bright future, but to buy and hold know requires a longer-term perspective and committment of resources that I currently don't have.
