What I'd love to see from AMD... is a 3 cent per share quarterly dividend. 3 cents lets AMD beat Intel's dividend by 50% - that would be fun for Jerry. :-) Don't expect it, though. It would cost AMD less than 40 million dollars for the year, probably double the stock price overnight, and that would let them use some of those shares on the shelf to pay for the next FAB. I think the near term markets are going to value dividends the way recent markets have valued growth prospects. AMD's attraction will continue to be its growth prospects, but adding a dividend into the equation would make a big difference. Dan
