Global TeleMedia and Sprint Sign $2 Million Agreement for Frame Relay For BentleyTel Smart-e-Cash Machines
Under the Three Year Agreement Sprint Will Provide and Monitor Frame Relay
Lines for BentleyTel Smart-e-Cash Machines to Be Distributed

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Global TeleMedia International (OTC Bulletin Board: GLTI) announced that it had executed a three year agreement with Sprint under which Sprint will deploy and monitor the frame relay lines necessary for the BentleyTel Smart-e-Cash machines to be "real-time" 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
GLTI President, Jonathon Bentley-Stevens said, "This is the most important step in the rollout program for the BentleyTel Smart-e-Cash machines. We are now guaranteed timely installation and 24 hour monitoring to keep the machines "on-line." We have several important agreements pending execution and it is a pre-requisite that we can guarantee 99.9% up-time to our prospective partners. The companies that we are negotiating with have well established market presence and many thousands of locations. We plan to commence integration of these locations in first quarter 2001 and are already pre-qualifying the most heavily trafficked locations in order to install our machines in the most favorable locations first.
Now that we have signed the agreement with Sprint, we can move forward to close the other agreements with the confidence that we can install 2,156 machines on an agreed schedule over the next three years. Projected revenues, based on both actual machines in the market and the additional international funds transfers services provided by the BentleyTel Smart-e-Card, estimate that each machine should generate an average revenue of $150,000 + per year in each location. Therefore commencing with the installation of the first machines and deployment of 2,156 machines over the 3 year installation program, the company expects to generate approximately $327,000,000 in annual recurring revenues. This program is in addition to the BentleyTel Phonecard agreement with Far East Ventures Inc previously announced."
The company is also in discussions with Sprint on other global business opportunities, which involve the company's goods and services in the Pacific Rim countries.
