adam.com Announces Revised Relationship with WebMD Corporation BUSINESS WIRE - December 07, 2000 11:54 NEW YORK, Dec 7, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- adam.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADAM), a leading originator and syndicator of health information for the e-health and e-learning markets, today announced a revised content license agreement with WebMD Corporation (NASDAQ: HLTH).
adam.com and WebMD entered into a mutually binding agreement in June 2000, which was finalized under a definitive agreement in October 2000. The revised agreement replaces all prior contracts with WebMD. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under general terms of the three-year agreement, adam.com will license to WebMD several online health products, including adam.com's Health Illustrated Encyclopedia, thousands of medical illustrations, and a library of online interactive health presentations.
