Now, I don't know what is coming up over the next year that will fuel more bandwidth demand.

You are making the mistake of thinking that demand for bandwidth will come from the consumer portion of the Internet. It is coming from companies large and small that are moving their back office operations onto the public Internet, WANs and VPNs. Bandwidth supply is seriously lagging demand in almost every distance.
