Hi TG - My opinion is that FL is only a factor of uncertainty. Arguably, AAPL, MOT etc etc warnings are a bigger factor. That is why Chmn Greenspan's speech could provide such a dramatic turn.

Ultimately, each stock should stand on its own feet. While I cannot speech for others, there is no doubt people are frustrated to see CPQ had a bad case of flu when other people sneezed. I mean, look at the action of LSI, XLNX, AAPL and even MOT, they were punished less, relatively, than CPQ. Therefore, one has to think CPQ is a weak stock.

It doesn't have to be the case. If my house is strong, I don't worry about real estate agents saying the color is not trendy. Instead, I'd list all the wonderful features like great location, sturdy construction, functional living space etc etc. This is what CPQ can do, not to inflat its potentials, but to list all the benefits coming out of MC's toil & sweat. It is not really that difficult. Sure, it will be affected by the mkt, but many stocks outperform the mkt and I don't see why CPQ can't if MC believes in it and is backed by solid fundamentals

best, Bosco
