Do you consider "Network to Net Worth", to be the best starting point for examining the network effect?

Yes, because it's the only one I know of. :) Seriously, I think the value of the piece is that, just as the manual uses a series of criteria to provide an idea about the strength of Gorillas and Gorilla candidates, "Network to Net Worth" provides a logical series of criteria that enables an investor to come to a conclusion about the strength of its network, its value chain.
