I don't blame you. That is why this stock is speculative. They don't have a very strong balance sheet. They are spending a lot of money trying to move from a development stage company to a company with a commercially viable product. I estimate that they have another 2 quarters or so to secure a major contract before they will need additional outside financing. Securing additional financing shouldn't be too difficult considering the industry they are in and the strategic relationships they have. I guess it would depend on their GRADIUM lenses. If they are truly "revolutionary" they will find someone to take a chance on them and put up some dough. Of course this would cause some dillution to shareholders, but depending on the deal it could signal a show of faith in the technology.
As for your question regarding who uses their products, many of these are outlined in their press releases and SEC filings. Here are 2 links for their press releases:

biz.yahoo.com
biz.yahoo.com

For some stupid reason some of the news releases are classified under symbol LPTHA and some under LPTHU so you have to enter both symbols to get all the releases. Also Yahoo only shows recent releases so you have to click on the news link next to the profile and SEC filings to get older releases.
