In spite of all of that, one must apply traditional valuation metrics to any company and see if 'value' is determined or not determined for the longer haul. It doesn't matter if we are talking technology stock, Godzilla stock, non technology stock or whatever - at some point you have to say as an investor "I see value."

I have said it before on this board....for the first time in a long time, there are variety of stocks that I am now looking at on a valuation basis. A compelling valuation combined with Gorilla (or in this case, Godzilla) characteristics gives me the level of safety that I am looking for. I'm not particuarly worried about finding a bottom....as long as I can find a great company at a reasonable valuation, I am confident that the share price and earnings will rise in tandem.

I just remembered Don Mosher's series on Yahoo....looks like I have a lot of reading ahead of me <g>.
