Here is what TA tells me, the stock is moving and there are more buyers than sellers. If it breaks 12.38 it will tell me that an uptrend is possibly in motion. That is what TA is designed for, not to guess why something is happening, just to profit from what IS happening.

Now that I have said that, I can do what I did pre-earnings announcement, paint a scenario. As I said then, this is very dangerous to try and trade by, and we all know that the possible scenario that I painted before was completely wrong, so take it for what it is worth (nothing, in case you were wondering).

Very odd that there was so much activity with no announcement. Even odder that the company declined comment. Usually they said, "we know of no reason for the stocks movement." The "decline to say" would strike me as if they don't want to, or can't say.

Why would that be? Possible buyout or merger? Could be. Before the stock showed no proof of a possible buyout, now today's movement could be explained that way. Only problem is, Janard doesn't seem to be the type to give up control/ownership of his baby.

Could someone like Soros or Buffett or a major compnay be taking a position in OO? If so, OO would likely say the "no reason" comment instead of the "decline to say."

Could it be the report of meeting earnings estimates. Possibly, although I would not think that it would generate such movement in the stock.

Seriously, If you saw a graph of OO, you would not have seen upside
voulme like this since October 11th 1996, the day after its first major drop on 7,000,000+ shares. Very exciting.

Possibly I am reading too much into the wording of the OO announcement. But the bottom line is that it is making money, the only question is will it last and will we fill the gap at 12.38.

One last thought, some lone poster on the OO AOL BB recently dropped a cryptic message saying that something would happen very soon to take OO to 15.00. Was he a kook, or did he know something? Where is Leonard Nimoy when we need him? Ha Ha!

If it was a buyout, what would a reasonable price be. This is for you Fundamentalist, since I use TA, I have no idea.

Remember, the above is all just a fun speculation. If you have a profit
don't be afraid to take it if things don't follow through.
