WTC, while at work a few days ago, I stopped by a big Pac Bell CO and noticed expansion of the "cages" for CLECs in progress. Seems that the initial cage allocations are filling up. There are over 90 CLECs that have been approved to provide local service by the Cal. public utilities commission. There are so many cages in some central offices, that the CLEC area has been informally renamed "the zoo".
