Hi CAtech,

A friend of mine & I have been on the phone quite a bit lately. He is quite interested in this election process, but does not have access to the live trials, so I get 2 or 3 a day for updates for him.

He said that since the election, his dealership sales plummeted..... and have only recently began to pick up, albeit modestly.

Do not discount how much spending that DID NOT take place since Nov 8th, one full month ago. IMVHO, there will be a lot more warnings. I also believe that once we KNOW who our next President is, the spending will resume & their will be pent up $$$ let loose.

If we get a friendly FED, we will be fine IMVHO

P.S. freeus, you took the risk of margin. Looks like the houses can send us gap down tomorrow. Please do not panic & think it through. If you have to pay the margin man, so be it. If not, do you want to sell near a bottom? Sure the risk is it will go lower. Consider what is in front of us in the economy. Are we we closer to the bottom, or the top? If you have time, perhaps you may want to take some now...... me thinks you will make a more informed decision.
