AMD's foundation is almost in place. The PC market is now owned by AMD on a price/performance basis and the buyers are now lining up for AMD PC's. If AMD's DDR, mobile and server products in Q1 stack up on a price/performance basis as well as their PC's (and I, for one, have zero doubt that they will), AMD can easily achieve 40% revenue and profit growth in Y2001 to $7 billion and $3.50 eps respectively and achieve that hitherto elusive 40 multiple once it becomes apparent that INTC can no longer wisk AMD away at will as they were able to when P3 was the superior architecture and without competition in yhe mid and high end spaces...
