One other datapoint in addition to Intel. CDW warned this evening and is down big. They are a pretty large supplier of Compaq gear as far as I know. Also, one thing I have noticed in regard to all the talk about handheld devices being 'the thing' now instead of PC's is that ads for electronics retailers (like RCS in today's NY Times) don't feature 'the box' at all these days. The ads are full of digital cameras, Palm handhelds, etc.
