Maloney said something positive: PC growth is still about 20% going fwd, which is better than in 3 of the last 5 years. Also, just starting buildup of ebiz infrastructurem and the PC is very integral to that.

Inventory buildup not a factor (Q from Edelstone).

Edelstone also asked about investment cap. didn't get anything signif.

David Wu, what's with the 6.5 B capex next year vs. 6. Andy said it's actually THIS year. Chipsets, comm chips, and other still hot products need the equip. What will be capex for 2001? Andy said he could tell this mid Jan.

Server remains strong, most other except flash are down.

Q101? Andy, premature to comment on Q1, Andy begging off 'til next month to call.

Why add cap when business is falling off? Same Q again, A again. Inventory? Fact that Intel held GM tells a story about inventories (no prob.).

Notebooks in Taiwan, adoption down, unusual for Q4. Not a good one there.

Another Q about Q1, Andy begged off again.
